Ventria's proprietary expression technology ExpressTec has produced several proteins that have a variety of applications in human and animal health.

The products in our portfolio that can be disclosed at this time include: lactoferrin and lysozyme. These products are particularly well suited to Ventria's production system because:

• The consumer benefit of these proteins can be realized via oral or topical delivery.
• There are a variety of applications of these proteins in human and animal health.
• Metric ton quantities of these proteins are needed to meet the demand created by the applications above, so a highly scalable production system is required.
• These proteins have proven costly or impossible to produce in other, traditional production systems like bacteria, yeast or fungi.
